Head of the Belarusian delegation Dmitry Pantus held a series of meetings and negotiations with partners in military and technical cooperation

The 4th International Military and Technical Forum "Army-2018 - one of the largest world exhibitions of weapons and military vehicles" was initiated in Congress and Exhibition Center "Patriot" near Moscow on August 21, 2018. 
102 foreign delegations came to International Military and Technical Forum "Army-2018". This was reported by Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation General of the Army Sergei Shoigu at the opening ceremony of the Forum. 
The head of the Russian defense department visited national booth of the Republic of Belarus, familiarized with the exposition and had a dialog with Head of the Belarusian delegation Deputy Chairman of the State Military Industrial Committee Dmitry Pantus and directors of various Belarusian companies.
Dmitry Pantus comprehensively informed Sergei Shoigu about capabilities and prospects of the national defense industry and its participation in joint Belarusian-Russian projects.
The Ministry of Defense of Burkina-Faso Jean Claude Buda also visited collective Belarusian exposition. He was interested in high technology developments - unmanned aerial vehicles and remote controlled combat modules. Following the results of the visit Jean Claude Buda expressed his wish in the development of bilateral cooperation in various most topical areas. And the Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates after visiting exposition of "BELTECHEXPORT" CJSC was very interested in effective payload of UAVs and capabilities of their joint production.
The major areas of interest were unmanned aerial vehicles, in particular, displayed by "BELTECHEXPORT" CJSC novelty at the exhibition - reconnaissance-strike UAV "Yastreb", developments of republican unitary enterprise "Scientific and Production Centre of Multifunctional Unmanned Systems" of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, quadcopters of "BSVT-new technologies" LLC and educational institution "Military Academy of the Republic of Belarus", and also remote-controlled combat modules developed by specialists of "KB Display" OJSC, etc. On the first day of forum "Army-2018" Head of the Belarusian delegation Dmitry Pantus held negotiations with Minister of Defense of Egypt Ahmed Zaki. The parties discussed prospects of the development of mutually beneficial bilateral relations and peculiarities of the execution of previously reached agreements in military and technical field.
