SAMI Board Meeting Sums up 2024 Results and Defines Industry Development Tasks for 2025

On 7 February 2025, OJSC “AGAT – Control Systems” – Managing Company of “Geoinformation Control Systems” Holding hosted a meeting of the Board of the State Authority for Military Industry (SAMI) held under the chairmanship of Dmitry Pantus, the SAMI Minister. The meeting participants summarized the activity of SAMI and its companies in 2024 and defined their stable development tasks for 2025.

The bottomline event of the arms industry was attended by State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Volfovich, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Karankevich, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Khrenin, officials from cooperating republican government agencies, heads of directorates and departments of the SAMI Central Office, heads of the SAMI companies, their deputies for economic issues, chief engineers, as well as heads of several defence industry companies.

Before the Board meeting, the government’s highest officials and other invitees explored SAMI’s traditional year-end exhibition of armaments, military and purpose-built vehicles, while the Minister answered the questions of journalists representing Belarus’ and Russia’s top media.

All in all, more than 140 full-scale specimens and mock-up models were showcased by defence industry companies in the lobby and at the outdoor exhibition site located on SAMI’s premises.
