No compromises: product quality as a national priority
At the premises of OJSC “AGAT-Control Systems” – Managing Company of “Geoinformation Control Systems” Holding, a training seminar was held entitled “Determining approaches and criteria for evaluating quality assurance activities of organisations” under leadership of a representative of SAMI. The seminar was attended by the representatives of organisations being part of SAMI.
The purpose of the seminar was to exchange experience on improving quality, develop a mathematical framework for evaluating the activities of organisations in quality assurance, and develop unified approaches and criteria for evaluating the activities of organisations within SAMI in terms of product quality.
During the seminar, a specialist from the State Committee for Standardisation of the Republic of Belarus familiarised participants with the lean management system. The representatives of the companies shared and discussed their experience of operating quality management systems at their enterprises.
SAMI has always paid priority attention to the quality of its products, works and services, and the Five-year quality plan announced by the President of the Republic of Belarus has become an additional motivation to act, a systematic reevaluating of processes, standards and the concept of quality management.
SAMI Quality Program for 2025 is currently being implemented. The organisations of SAMI focus on staff training and quality control of manufactured products, introduction of new technologies and production methods, involvement in improvement process, and motivating and rewarding employees for their achievements and success in both new developments and maintaining high quality standards.
