“Optima-B” System
Optima-B” System (GPS Satellite Navigation System Terminal Spoofing Jammer)
GPS satellite system terminal spoofer “Optima-B” (hereinafter, the “Optima-B”) is designed to generate and radiate, in real time, the signals whose characteristics and parameters are identical to characteristics and parameters of the signals generated by the GPS satellites at an assigned navigation receivers’ station point. The simulated signals can be recognized by the navigation receivers as true ones, which will result in false determination of the object’s current coordinates.
“Optima-B” technical characteristics
1 Working frequencies: L1 (1575.42 MHz) and L2 (1227.6 MHz).
2 The navigation code used for simulation – C/A code (as per IS GPS-200E).
3 The “Optima-B” enables jamming of the GLONASS navigation receivers within L1 and L2 frequency bands.
4 Output power of the amplifiers – minimum 3 W.
5 Coordinate system used – WGS-84.
6 Time scale used – UTС.
7 Number of GPS satellites simulated – up to 12.
8 Output power tuning range – 30 dB for the case of automatic tuning based on target ranging information; 50 dB for preset values.
9 The “Optima-B” provides control over the jamming transmitters comprising “Optima-3.2” complex through VHF radio channel.
10 Operating temperature range – from +5 to +50°C.
