"Shturm-B" system is designated to defeat modern tanks, infantry combat vehicles, launchers  of antitank guided missiles and antiaircraft guided missiles, reinforced concrete pillboxes, earth covered structures, low-flying and low-speed air targets, as well as opponent's manpower in shelters.
Aeronautic missile antitank system "Shturm-B" is designed on the basis of ground self-propelled antitank 9K114 "Shturm-S".
In the composition of both systems the same munition is used - missiles 9M114, 9M114M and 9M114F. Currently the system allows using upgraded missiles "Ataka" - 9M120, 9M120F, 9A2200 and 9M2313.
The system includes:
•    combat assets composed of guidance and control equipment built in helicopter;
•    guided missiles in transport and launching containers;
•    maintenance tools for bases and armory composed of checkout equipment for guidance and control of carrier and checkout equipment for operational inspection of missiles;
•    training equipment composed of simulator and training model of missile.
